The beauty queen among pilot’s watches
If I had to explain the look of the Breitling Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 to someone, I would describe it as the complete opposite of the IWC Big Pilot’s Automatic Spitfire. The pilot’s watch from IWC Schaffhausen can also rightly bear the seal of “luxury”, but interprets the pilot’s chronograph theme in a completely different way: reduced, minimalist, cool. The contrast is perfect. How does a timepiece that seems to ignore these features typical of pilot’s watches fare? Well, you can’t deny the functionality of the Breitling Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 either. The pilot’s watch offers this in abundance, just like the fine materials. The effect of the Breitling Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 on its wearer and those around him is undisputed. The prestige (and price) of the impressive pilot’s watch can be seen from afar. This timepiece is therefore the right choice for upscale occasions. You won’t find a more suitable pilot’s watch here. But the Navitimer is also visually the perfect companion for “more active” use. You wouldn’t think so, but the performance qualities of the Breitling pilot should not be underestimated…
The case of the Breitling Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43
The dial is read through a watch glass made of domed, slightly curved sapphire. During production, Breitling gives the sapphire glass an anti-reflective coating on both sides, which significantly reduces annoying reflections. This makes the dial easier to read.
Breitling’s Caliber 01
Original design is important, but it is by no means the only aspect by which you should evaluate a watch. Its technical specifications are at least as important. In this respect, the Breitling Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 lacks nothing!
